Job title: Aircraft Refuelling and Ground Support Operative Location: Warton (On-Site) Salary: £36,088+ dependent on skills & experience What you'll be doing: A large part of this role will be Aircraft Fuelling/Defueling/ testing activities You will also be involved in movement of ground equipment to meet business requirements Ensuring de-icing of the aircraft is to business requirements and in line with required standards Carrying out sweeping operations and snow clearance for airside surfaces to meet required business standards You will perform escort duties for airside works in accordance with aerodrome operating procedures Ensuring the provision of emergency services and low visibility support as requestedYour skills and experiences: Essential Previous experience working in an airside setting with the handling of fuel In possession of an HGV Category C & E license as a minimum A relevant qualification in fuelling/ operations (Jig 4 or equivalent)Desirable Previous Line supervision or team coordination qualifications (e.g. NVQ supervisor) Forklift licenseBenefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The AGSU (Aircraft Ground Support Unit) Team: This team delivers airfield ground support services including personnel, equipment and resources in accordance with licensing, regulatory, BAE Systems rules, procedures, bye laws and business requirements. Service provision includes, storage, handling and distribution of aviation fuel, FOD sweeping operations, snow clearance, aircraft de-icing, and forklift truck operations. Why BAE Systems?
