The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving TRIGO’s growth within the Aerospace and Defence sectors in the UK. This key role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding TRIGO’s service offerings. The BDM will be instrumental in developing and executing a strategic plan that accelerates revenue growth through new business acquisition while fostering long-term client partnerships. Key Responsibilities * Business Development & Strategy: * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Aerospace and Defence sectors across the UK. * Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow TRIGO’s presence in these industries, promoting services such as quality management, technical resourcing, supplier management, engineering services, and consulting solutions. * Lead efforts to expand relationships with existing clients and capture new contracts through targeted business development activities. * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. * Work closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and develop tailored solutions from TRIGO’s portfolio of services. * Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery. * Proposal Development & Negotiation: * Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, collaborating with internal teams to align proposals with client needs and objectives. * Deliver presentations and pitches to prospective clients. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term business partnerships. * Project Coordination & Support: * Oversee the successful execution of service delivery, working closely with the operations team to ensure that client expectations are met. * Address any service delivery issues, facilitating timely resolutions to maintain high levels of satisfaction. * Reporting & Performance Tracking: * Maintain up-to-date records of business development activities, including pipeline, sales forecasts, and client interactions using the CRM. * Provide regular reports to senior management on business development performance, new opportunities, and client feedback. Key Requirements * Experience: * 5 years of experience in Business Development, or Sales roles specifically focused on selling consulting services. * Proven track record of securing new business and managing client relationships within a technical or engineering-focused environment. * Technical proficiency is preferred, with the ability to confidently engage in discussions on engineering and quality management topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Skills: * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients at all levels. * Ability to understand technical services and translate them into tailored solutions for clients. * Proficiency in CRM systems, Sales Navigator and MS Office Suite. * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
