We are now looking for dedicated Technical Specialists to join our Vehicle Supervisory Management Software team. About the Role As a Technical Specialist in the Vehicle Supervisory Management Software team, your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our Powertrain & Vehicle control software, spanning a range of Powertrain Architectures such as DHT, REEV, and BEV. You will take charge of designing innovative control system strategies, harnessing the power of smart technologies in areas like Thermal Management, 4WD Torque Split Strategy, Energy Management, Predictive Features, and more. Additionally, you'll lead a team to transform these strategies into robust software solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as you bridge the gap between software expertise and powertrain technologies, ensuring clear communication with non-software domain engineers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, maths, or physics. Proven experience in software development for Powertrain & Vehicle Supervisory Controllers. Expert-level knowledge in areas such as Torque Management, Traction Management, and Thermal Management. A passion for continuous learning, embracing emerging technologies like AI/ML to shape Supervisory Management Control Strategies. A customer-focused mindset that can translate complex technical solutions into tangible customer benefits. Resilience, energy, and enthusiasm to adapt to new ideas and evolving environments. Experience in designing Safety Functions for Powertrain Supervisory Controllers, with a strong emphasis on Torque Management, Traction Management, and Thermal Management. Proficiency in model-based software development with MATLAB/Simulink. A solid understanding of software development processes, workflows, and standards, such as Auto SPICE. Familiarity with software version control tools, including Git/Subversion/Perforce. Proven experience in designing and applying formal software architectures. The ability to deliver high-level technical presentations to senior management. Exceptional prioritization skills to handle multiple work streams in a dynamic environment. Desirable Practical knowledge of V-cycle and Agile development methodologies. Experience in delivering mass-production automotive embedded software projects. Background in software for safety-critical systems. Familiarity with DevOps toolchains and implementation. Knowledge of software testing and quality metrics, including coverage analysis and complexity analysis. Experience with automotive communication protocols like CAN, CAN FD, and UDS. Understanding of machine learning and big data algorithms and their implementations
