Role - Technical Coordinator Location – Coventry Role type – Permanent Travel – Some travel to UK suppliers will be required. Salary – c£35k Task – Our Automotive client in Coventry requires a Technical Coordinator to support the Engineering team with the following functions – * Manage the procurement of development parts – raising Purchase Requests; chasing suppliers for quotations and delivery dates; managing parts deliveries etc * Picking build-kits for prototype engines – working with Engineers to create pick-lists; working with suppliers and in-house stores to pick the build kits; delivering the build kits to the build sites; etc * Creating and maintaining accurate tracking documents of parts and engine stock levels, locations, etc * Working with Engineers to manage Engineering Releases – Initiating releases; chasing progress; etc Candidate – This role does not require a technical expert in powertrain systems. The requirement is for someone who knows their way around engines and can work with the team to coordinate parts procurement for development engines and support the release process. The role requires energy, curiosity, assertiveness, effective communication skills and a focus on delivery above all else.
